Problem of the Day (Posted on March 5th, 2014)
I seem to be in to launching things on my birthday. I bought the domain for this site on my birthday and I started work on a site called Problem of the Day which just officially launched today. If you're in to logic puzzles and short programming problems check it out http://www.problemotd.com/.
This site was the first time I needed to send out e-mails in mass quantities. I ended up going with Mandrill and couldn't be happier. If you're looking for an e-mail solution I highly recommend them as their testing features for development were easier to use and the Djrill library integrates seamlessly.
Other than e-mails it's your standard run of the mill Django app running on Heroku. I went for a hackerish design feel which also happens to be very simplistic. Hopefully it pays off. I've got some cool problems planned for the first few weeks so be sure to subscribe for all the latest problems.
